Back in December, I signed up for my very first Julep box. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Julep Maven program, it’s a monthly subscription box of nail polish and beauty products. New members take a short quiz to figure out what your “Style Profile” is going to be. Julep will pick different products and shades based on your profile, but you can switch styles every month if you prefer a different profile’s products.

I ended up being an “It Girl”, and my Intro Box included 3 nail polishes – Libby, Elle and Bunny.

This is what the box looks like when opened. The It Girl Welcome Box came with the 3 polishes on the right, the 3 on the left plus the top coat were additional items I purchased. I’ll review those at a later time.

Elle is a rich plum frost. I don’t usually gravitate towards frost finishes, but I do really like this one. This was easy to apply and opaque in 2 coats.

Bunny is described as a crisp white linen with fine gold shimmer. The shimmer shows up great in the bottle, but not so much on the nail. I still really like it. It’ll look great worn alone or with a glitter topcoat, or as a base for another polish. It’s really versatile. This is 3 coats.

Libby is described as a rich teal creme. I love how vibrant and easy to apply this is. 2 coats used here.

This was my first experience with Julep nail polishes. I had been eyeing them in Sephora for a while and a friend told me about this program so I thought why not? I’ve never subscribed to any other type of monthly box, but it’ll be nice looking forward to getting goodies in the mail.

I loved these polishes so much that I decided to upgrade my February box to include all the nail polishes coming out.

Yesterday I got an email that my box has shipped! Really looking forward to getting it. I’ll be sure to do a review and swatch post once I do.

If you’re thinking about signing up to become a Julep Maven, I’d love if you used my referral link.

Have you tried Julep polishes before? What about their beauty products?

As much as I love the concept of Bunny, I’ve never seen it actually WORK on anyone’s nails, so I’ve refrained from purchasing her. Still, I do think this is a great intro box — I LOVE the new intros and I kind of wish I had those options when I signed up!
