Pore-fection Guest Post

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall. My pores are the same – annoyingly large and obvious, oil-secreting and makeup ruining. Experts say that the secret to flawless makeup is a flawless base. Thank the beauty gods for skincare products because without them I’d be a hot mess. In my current skincare rotation, there are two products that help me get one step closer to pore-fection:

  1. The Soap and Glory Fab Pore Facial Peel ($25) – Once a week, I smother this bad boy all over my face to unclog and tighten my pores. It contains blue exploding beads with salicylic acid to exfoliate the skin and prevent acne. The Fab Pore Facial Peel is like a little miracle in a jar.
  2. The Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner ($30) is a skincare/primer hybrid. On the daily, underneath my skincare and makeup to reduce the look of pores. As a plus, the product has a matte finish and keeps oil at bay all day long. I’m not quite sure what I’d do without it.
Anyways, my pores are probably the #1 skincare issue that I have. So these pore-minimizing and pore-clearing products are absolute essentials.
Do you have large pores? If so, what do you do to deal with them?

I have large pores too – I refer to them as craters, lol! Since getting dry skin with my pregnancy they seem to have shrunk a bit, but they’re still there. They don’t ooze oil like they used to so that’s a big plus. But if I revert back to combo/oily skin after baby comes around I will definitely look into these products.
