Hand cream is something I am addicted to.  The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream has definitely been in my top favourites since I started using it a couple of years ago.

The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream Review

I’m constantly reapplying hand cream throughout the day, especially after I wash my hands or anything like that. My fiancé (I don’t like that word, but that’s what he is. For the next few months anyway) makes fun of me because of how obsessive I am about this, but he’s always complimenting me on how soft my skin is.

The consistency of this is thick, but still easy to apply. I have dry skin, and I find this extremely moisturizing. It absorbs in a reasonable amount of time and doesn’t leave a greasy residue behind. It even managed to keep my hands in great shape over the cold winter we just had, and that’s saying a lot.

If you’re sensitive to smells, make sure to sniff this one first. I personally like the smell, but it’s worth noting in case you’re concerned about things like that. There are a couple of other creams in this line – the hemp and rose and I don’t particularly care for the scent of those.

This comes in metal tube packaging and you have to be careful not to put too much pressure on the tube when not in use, or else cream will ooze out when you open it. Also watch you don’t squeeze too hard when trying to get product out, you really only need a small amount.

The 100ml size retails for $20 CDN, but The Body Shop has sales quite often and I usually just stock up then, I’ve never paid full price. There’s also a 30ml travel size available for $10 CDN. I snagged a bunch of those right after the holidays for $6 each. They’re the perfect size to slip in your purse or makeup bag.

Are you as obsessed with hand cream as I am? Which one are you currently loving?

For some reason, I don’t really like the smell of the hemp one. Though maybe I should give it another try, I know with this the smell doesn’t linger long anyway.

Scents don’t usually bother me, unless it’s really overpowering. The smell doesn’t linger with this one anyway, and it’s super moisturizing!
